Sondra Brewer Pfeffer

My interest in art started at the age of 12 when I received second prize at the Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck NY for a watercolor. I’ve studied on and off throughout the years. Mostly off. Putting art aside to pursue a career in commercial acting and modeling, moving to Chicago and raising a family became my focus. Now retired I’m back at it. My art has been viewed in Aspen, Highland Park, New York, and Chicago where I have been a member of the Palette & Chisel for over seven years alongside Plein Air Painters, and Urban Sketchers Chicago. This is where I paint and sculpt in my coach house studio. At this point in my life, I’m concentrating on sculpting in clay and enjoy the feel of playing with my hands in clay. 

Just as I did when I was a kid many, many years ago. I hope you get as much pleasure from my work as I get from creating them.
